A true reminder that in gardening we don't make the plants do what we want, we just kind of encourage them in that direction.Mudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16678314234179160996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1142304686061927788.post-91083108332306425512011-04-15T12:19:20.957-07:002011-04-15T12:19:20.957-07:00Hi Mud,

Bam - vague round shaped, rose-y thing.

Result? No discernible difference in flowering!!!! I love that. So much proscriptive text about how to prune roses and yet? Do you know what? The rose will do whatever.

I love that.

DaveDavid Marsdenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10194429506546837258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1142304686061927788.post-74033553188833556052011-03-30T09:05:10.867-07:002011-03-30T09:05:10.867-07:00I suspect they'll look even better once they b...I suspect they'll look even better once they bloom. Your pruning doesn't seem to have gotten you kicked out of your in-laws, at any rate. :) I'm no rose expert, but they look good!Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08297253093260251145noreply@blogger.com
